DROSSA – Direct

Drossa's primary aim was to find products that, in our opinion, taste good - and them sell them direct to the public at a competitive price. A good flavour, coupled with a decent shelf life, is what we looked for. Many of our products have won taste awards or received very favourable reviews in the specialist press - the most recent being the Mixwell Pizza Mix, which scored 9.5 out of 10 when tested by Foods Matter magazine.

We have a very wide range of flours, which are easy to make (by hand in a conventional oven or in a breadmaker.

We offer quality GF pastas from Italy under the Farabella brand labels, and fabulous, easy-to-use and versatile Gnocchi – a real ‘must’ for the store cupboard. This vacuum packed product has a long shelf life and needs no refrigeration (if kept in its original pack, unopened), and it takes approximately just two minutes to cook once you put the gnocchi into boiling water!

Drossa is also pleased to have added four wonderful Extra Virgin Olive Oils from Galantino. This award-winning company produces a range of flavoured Extra Virgin Olive Oils where the ingredients of the actual flavour are processed together with the selected olives in the mill to provide the first press Extra Virgin Olive Oil – natural filtration ensures that the oil is offered at its best. We offer four flavours: Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Lemon, with Orange, with Basil and with Mint.
